What it is
Log in with Spotify and TasteRank reads your top artists, top tracks, genres and recently played songs, then scores your taste. Version 1 is deterministic and rule-based, with no AI or model training on Spotify data.
How it’s built
- Spotify OAuth (Authorization Code with PKCE) with read-only scopes.
- Server-side encrypted token storage, HTTP-only session cookies and refresh tokens.
- Dashboard with score history, a rule-by-rule breakdown and a PNG share card.
- Prisma with PostgreSQL, rate limiting, a health check, Docker and GitHub Actions CI.
